ESOBE stands for European Seminar on Bayesian Econometrics. This series of seminars was launched in 2010 with the first meeting in Rotterdam. The 11th ESOBE conference will be hosted at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The conference is planning to take place in a hybrid format, however in the unfortunate case that the pandemic situation became worse in Spain it would become fully online.

We are delighted to announce keynote and invited speakers, Herman K. van Dijk (Erasmus University Rotterdam), Daniel Peña (Universidad Carlos III), Helga Wagner (Universität Linz), Manuel Arellano (CEMFI), Roberto Casarin (Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia), Gael Martin (Monash University) and Enrique Sentana (CEMFI).

Hedibert F. Lopes  will teach a one-day course on Modern Bayesian Econometrics on September 1 2021.
